"These grips are great . I have a pair on my grocery getter bike and bought this pair for my beach cruiser"
A bike that fits properly is more fun to ride. The guides below offer size suggestion based on height in inches. If you have measuring tape, you may also determine your size by measuring your leg length plus one inch, which is your stand over measurement. For all bikes, we recommend at least 1 inch of space between you and the top tube of the bike. When in doubt, contact our customer service team via email at customerservice@publicbikes.com.

| PUBLIC C7 24" |
| Frame Size | Rider Height | Effective TT | Standover Height |
| One-Size (24") - 29cm | 4'4" - 4'10" | 48.5cm | 20" |
| PUBLIC C1, C7, C7i, C9, C8i Disc |
| Frame Size | Rider Height | Effective TT | Standover Height |
| Small/Medium - 41cm | 4'10" - 5'5" | 56cm | 22" |
| Medium/Large - 51cm | 5'6" - 5'10" | 58.5cm | 22" |
*Please note: some riders may be a little outside of these height range recommendations but prefer the feel of a larger or smaller bike. Stand over height measurement is not as important as how the bike geometry feels while it is being ridden.
Designed for single-speed bikes or bikes with trigger shifters, our new PUBLIC Duracork grips are the perfect combination of comfort and durability. (Not compatible with twist shifters).
These grips combine the classic, natural look and feel of cork with a modern material that's stronger and more durable, yet just as comfortable. Often used in fishing rod handles, Duracork doesn't crack, tear, or crumble like traditional cork.
The bolt-on grip ends make installation easier than ever and eliminate grip movement. Impervious to rain and other harsh elements, these larger grips add a confidence-inspiring feel on the handlebar and greater ride comfort overall. Removes a growing point of tension.

"These grips are great . I have a pair on my grocery getter bike and bought this pair for my beach cruiser"
"I bougt these to restora-mod a 60's era English Phillips single speed bicycle. It came with the old style rubber grips... which were too short, too thin, and not at all nice to hold in my big dude hands. These dura cork grips caught my eye. Now that they're installed (i also bought a Public Brunch handlebar to put them on), i really, really like them, and am VERY pleased with my purchase. The color is great -- light black, with some brown mottling. And they feel terrific in my hands, which is the most important part. THey are nicely contoured, not as "ergo" as some grips, but far more ergonomic than any classic bike grips you'll come across. The texture is great, too, and the etched lock rings look really sharp. I wish I could post a photo to this, as I'm just thrilled with how they turned out on my bike. If you're a modern human, or, as in my case, a bigger human, and you need a bit more od a grip to comfortably hold, then this is perfect. PUBLIC! if you're reading these, having hese in a brown with black mottling (reversing this color, basically) would be AWESOME. I'd buy them in a heart beat for my other bike projects."
