A bike that fits properly is more fun to ride. The guides below offer size suggestion based on height in inches. If you have measuring tape, you may also determine your size by measuring your leg length plus one inch, which is your stand over measurement. *Please note: some riders may be a little outside of these height range recommendations but prefer the feel of a larger or smaller bike. Stand over height measurement is not as important as how the bike geometry feels while it is being ridden.

Up-to-date features like a 1 1/8" threadless stem and modern, dual control shifters allow many riding positions from semi-upright to aerodynamic and ensure easy-to-operate, light and responsive shifting. The PUBLIC R18 Drop Bar features an upgraded Shimano Sora 2x9 drivetrain that boasts the same reliable performance as far more expensive road bikes and is ready to ease you up the steepest hills.
Unlike traditional road bikes, the PUBLIC R18 Drop Bar was designed for urban utility with features like alloy fenders to keep you dry in inclement conditions, front and rear rack mounts, and secondary inline brake levers that offer convenient braking in city traffic from the most upright position. Rims capable of 35mm clearance (w/o fenders) smooth rough city streets with nimble handling, and quick-release wheels make it especially easy to carry on a roof rack for rides out of town.
