Cruiser Step-Through
Cruiser Model Size Guide
Find Your Size
A bike that fits properly is more fun to ride. The guides below offer size suggestion based on height in inches. If you have measuring tape, you may also determine your size by measuring your leg length plus one inch, which is your stand over measurement. For all bikes, we recommend at least 1 inch of space between you and the top tube of the bike. When in doubt, contact our customer service team via email at customerservice@publicbikes.com.
PUBLIC Cruiser ST (Step-Through) |
Frame Size | Rider Height | Standover Height |
One-Size (26") - 40cm | 5'1" - 5'10" | 25.5" |
PUBLIC Cruiser (Step-Over) |
Frame Size | Rider Height | Standover Height |
One-Size (26") - 44cm | 5'5" - 6'2" | 30.25" |
*Please note: some riders may be a little outside of these height range recommendations but prefer the feel of a larger or smaller bike. Stand over height measurement is not as important as how the bike geometry feels while it is being ridden.
PUBLIC and the classic beach cruiser both originate in California, so it stands to reason that our love of purposeful bicycle design combined with our proximity to some of the most well-known beaches in California would lead us to create our very own cruiser. The PUBLIC Cruiser is our most stable design yet; a lower center of gravity, larger tires, and wide handlebars will draw riders of any level to its comfortable and relaxed riding position.
Designed with ease of use and durability in mind, the PUBLIC Cruiser is well suited for beach community life, leisurely rolling through city streets with confidence, or for someone who simply desires a bike that is stable and confidence-inspiring no matter where they live and ride. It has a simple and efficient, carefully selected single-speed drivetrain for rolling hills as well as flat routes, and is available in both step-through and diamond-shaped frame options.
The PUBLIC Cruiser is built from high-quality aluminum, making it lighter and less susceptible to corrosive salt air than other steel cruisers on the market. We also kept the traditional coaster brake design, freeing up your hands to carry your board or a morning coffee as you roll out to check the local surf conditions.
This bike is not eligible for our Ready to Ride shipping option due to oversize packaging restrictions. We encourage you to select Partner Pickup at checkout or work with a reputable shop in your area to schedule an appointment for their mechanics to build and tune the bike.
