Feelin free

"I don’t know much about bikes but I do know that I love my new Public M7 bike. She came in a beautiful red and was easy to assemble. I love the mixte frame for my short legs. I feel so blessed to have this bike. I have it all now. I swear I’m flying when I’m riding."

Miriam R. (5/5)

"Solid and beautiful bike. Great balance between price, value, and looks. I would buy again if I ever found myself in need of a second bike. I paid to have it prebuild and it was very simple to do the last few things to get it ready to ride. It took me about 30 minutes from unboxing to riding it."

Victoria (5/5)

"The quality, Customer Service, ase of assembly (tho I do recommend payitncfir the ready to ride option) and great selection of accessories make this company truly stand out."

Service and quality of product

"As always they are so attentive and the bike is incredible - This is my 4th public bike and they are all different yet every one is amazing - thank you !"

Laurie H. (5/5)

Good for a Hilly Commute

"This bike rides in style, works well in light rain, and is perfectly functional on the road. The gears work smoothly, making hills more manageable. It's also light enough even for someone who doesn't hit the gym (me) to carry it up stairs without difficulty. I'm 5'3" with somewhat long legs and I ride the small/medium with the seat most of the way down. As a note, if you are my height or shorter, you will be sitting fairly upright."

Public M7

"Wow!! It is sooooo cool and fun! I want to get a better lock because I’m terrified somebody will snatch it. Great product!!!"

Elizabeth L. (5/5)

Can't go wrong!

"I've always known that Public bikes are quality having owned one for over 12 years and riding like new. In getting this one my only big choice was a C7 or an M7 - so many colors to choose! I went with the read M7 and it arrives in a timely fashion, was boxed carefully and assembly was beyond easy - the $99 assembled shipping is absolutely worth the price. I didn't have to put the wheels on or adjust the brakes. Everything was calibrated perfectly, and I was riding within the hour. And the bike is magic. And I knew I made the right choice on my first ride when an stylish elderly lady crossing the street shouted out to me "I love your bike!""

Q&A

Is the saddle animal leather?
The saddle is not made from animal leather, it is constructed from a synthetic material.
I want to sit more upright - without having to reach too far for the handlebars. is this bike design suitable?
The M7 is one of our comfort oriented bikes and is designed to place you in a casual, upright riding position.
How much does this bike weigh?
Hello Tiffany, Thanks for your question. The Public M7 weighs about 32 lbs. I hope this helps! Thanks.
What’ are the main differences between the C7 and M7?
Hey Catharine, The only difference between the C7 and M7 is the frame design. Thus, the question is more one of style, between a "mixte" frame and a step-through. Thanks!
What’s the diff between mi and m?
M7i has a 7-speed internal hub whereas the M7 has an external derailleur.
