The PUBLIC C8 is our newest model that combines our most popular Dutch style step-through frame with our equally popular 8-speed internal hub gear system for stop-and-go city riding. The internal hub gearing allows you to shift gears without having to pedal, whether you're stopped at an intersection or coasting.Similar to our other classic 8-speed bikes, the PUBLIC C8 features a deeper matching rim for extra styling. It is especially well suited for those who wear skirts or prefer not to swing a leg over a typical frame crossbar. Old-school aesthetic charm with modern components. Reliable and utilitarian enough to be your everyday, rain or shine, commuter workhorse. Chic enough to turn heads on city streets. Color options include our classic Orange, Cream, and Powder Blue.

Pick up your assembled bike at our Oakland or San Francisco Valencia store. Bikes will be ready for pick up in 7-10 business days. We will contact you when ready.
