For especially fit riders it can be ridden almost anywhere, including up the steep hills of San Francisco. The three speeds add significant power and speed on flat terrains and make it much easier to haul extra weight to and from the office or store. The frame style is based on the classic "diamond" frame geometry that has been the standard for city bikes, touring bikes, and even racing bikes dating back to the late 19th century. It is an ideal choice for urbanites who are hard on their bikes, or who frequently encounter potholes and bumpy streets.
