Saint Frank Retiro Coffee Beans

12 oz.
(Currently not available)

Saint Frank's freshly roasted Guatemalan beans are now available to be shipped directly to your door. We roast and ship once per week to maximize freshness.

Orders received by Monday 12:00pm PST will be roasted each Tuesday and shipped on Thursday. In order to maximize freshness, the beans are only available for shipping, not in our stores.

Customers have been lining up at our headquarters for Saint Frank coffee drinks, so we decided to make this superb coffee available to all our customers, shipped freshly roasted every week.

Saint Frank special roast is from very special Guatemalan beans for a taste experience that is as unique as it is rich, aromatic, and flavorful. The coffee is comprised of the traditional heirloom varieties of Bourbon and Typica and grows under the shade of tall Grevillea trees. The result is a great representation of a classic Antigua coffee from Guatemala: elegant, well balanced with a rich aroma and a very sweet taste. You'll need to grind the beans yourself, and if you do not have a coffee grinder it is about time you did! The aromatics and flavor imparted by freshly roasted ground coffee makes for coffee drinks that are astoundingly sumptuous.

This single origin coffee is named Retiro (which means "retreat") and comes from one of the most environmentally progressive estates in Guatemala using innovative sustainable practices for coffee production, forest preservation and management. Juan Luis Barrios Ortega produces these unique coffee beans. The Ortega Family has been growing coffee for 100 years near Chimaltenango in Guatemala, and the farm has been in Juans family since 1832.

Package Design
The package that we ship to you is equally as elegant as the coffee. The graphic design is the work of Paula Scher of Pentagram, awarded the 2013 Communication Design award from the Cooper Hewitt National Design Museum and with a lengthy distinguished career as an artist and designer.
