PUBLIC C7 - New Colors
$650.00  (Currently not available)

ONLY IN STOCK ON S/M BURGUNDY C7. NEW 2013 BIKES AVAILABLE FOR SALE ON MA7 7.

The PUBLIC C7 is an ultra affordable lightweight, easy-shifting, seven-speed bike designed for stop-and-go city riding. With its curved, open, step-through frame design, it is often referred to as a Dutch bike. But this classic European geometry is seen on the streets from Denmark to Italy and now more frequently in the US. It is especially well suited for those who wear skirts, carry extra weight on the rear rack, or prefer not to swing a leg over a typical frame crossbar. Old-school aesthetic charm with modern components. Reliable and utilitarian enough to be your everyday, rain or shine, commuter workhorse. Chic enough to turn heads on city streets.

We are offering three new colors this season on our PUBLIC C7 model: Teal, Burgundy and Apple Green. These new colors are done in limited editions come with matching painted inner rims.

Signature PUBLIC features include lightweight, durable steel-frame. Guaranteed for life. Featherweight aluminum chain guard and sturdy steel fenders keep your clothes clean and tidy on the way to work, coffee date or gallery event. The easy-shifting, seven-speed city derailleur system takes you virtually anywhere and back, even up and down the toughest hills of San Francisco. The extra gears also provide some extra speed on flatlands.

The list of thoughtful, civilized details are listed below. But you need to ride the bike to appreciate the solid, quiet feel of its ride. Put simply, the PUBLIC C7 rides like butter.

We make delivery and assembly easy for you, including our unique Ready to Ride option that allows anyone to assemble a PUBLIC bike at their home or office in minutes (tools included).

  • Modern: The Shimano 7-speed rear derailleur and Revo twist shifter brings state-of-the-art technology to the shifting system. Changing gears is done with a simple twist of the wrist.
  • Safe Braking: Alloy brakes combine with lightweight alloy rims with machined brake surfaces for quick, safe and controlled stops.
  • City Smart: 35 MM tires are wide enough to handle curbs and potholes but narrow enough for speed.
