"Moving, twisting, activating, trimming, training, overtaking, wrenching, curving, spinning, freeing, enjoying, cycling, biking - Public Biking!" - Niklaus Troxler

The Swiss are well known for watches, trains, clever bank accounts, and chocolate. It's also a country and culture where city biking is a mainstream activity. City bikes in many colors line the streets in most cities and are found in masses in train station parking lots. Color takes our eye to form and Troxler takes our eye to the wheel. Swiss designer Troxler celebrates the wheel itself, and motion, in this dynamic composition.

In 1973 Niklaus Troxler founded his own studio in Willisau, Switzerland. He has organized and designed posters for jazz concerts since 1966 and an annual Jazz Festival from 1975 to 2009 in his hometown Willisau. He produces posters, CD and book covers, illustrations, typography, and designs for textiles, products, art and architecture. His work has been featured in New York, Minneapolis, Mexico, Buenos Aires, Caracas, Paris, Berlin, Warsaw, Tokyo, Beijing and Hangzhou.
