Mabry is a consummate master of getting a lot of information and images to work together in an aesthetically pleasing manner. This piece is rich in details, texture, nuance, subtlety, humor, wit, compassion, complexity, hearts, crosses, cities, nature - all combined within a playful balanced symmetric composition. San Francisco has a poster tradition dating back to the 60's and the Summer of Love and Flower Power decade, and this piece extends that genre to the present.
