Assistant Store Manager - Full Time

We're looking for an Assistant Store Manager to help grow our retail sales in our new Hayes Valley location. The ideal candidate must have a strong entrepreneurial drive, be an exceptional leader and have the ability to manage daily store activity. The assistant store manager will be expected to provide strong people, operational, customer service and marketing skills. PUBLIC Bikes' brand must resonate strongly – a passion for design and a drive to get people on bikes, as well as an appreciation for reclaiming our public spaces. If you work with a strong sense of motivation, and bring excitement, ownership and purpose to your workplace we are interested in talking with you! Please note, weekends are prime time for this role. Sales Associates - Part Time and Full Time

We're looking for Bay Area based part-time sales associates to work 20-25 hours in our San Francisco and Oakland retail stores. Ideal candidates have prior retail operations experience, a taste for design, a friendly and outgoing demeanor, and enjoy engaging customers. Sales associates must be able to work on weekends. No need for a technical background in bicycles. Candidates simply need to enjoy riding bikes and be excited to help people get on bikes. Qualifications include experience in sales, an understanding of retail operations, basic computer skills, and an eye for merchandising. Pay is $14-$17/hour, depending on experience, with bonuses for exceeding sales objectives.

Bike Assembly & Service Leads - Full Time

We need to fill two key full-time roles in our assembly and service operations. We need a (1) Lead Assembler/Quality Assurance Coordinator at our Oakland Distribution Center in the Jack London Square district and (2) a Lead Assembler and Service Mechanic at our new Flagship store in San Francisco's Hayes Valley. Ideal candidates for both roles will have mechanical knowledge and proficiency commensurate with 2-5 years of service department experience. Bicycle Mechanics - Part Time and Full Time

If you have experience assembling bicycles, particularly with a reputable bike shop, we need help assembling our bikes at our 205 Alice Street warehouse in Oakland. These part-time positions are based in Oakland near Jack London Square. Attention to detail essential. Team players highly encouraged. Pay starts at $12/hour depending on experience.
