Sales Associates - Part Time (Sacramento)

We're looking for part-time (15-25 hours) sesonal sales associates to work in our new Sacramento Midtown showroom at HOT ITALIAN from mid-Oct 2015 through mid-Jan 2016. This is a concept pop-up showroom for 90 days with the possibility of extension. Candidates must have prior retail experience, a taste for design, a friendly and outgoing demeanor, and enjoy engaging customers. Sales associates must work on weekends Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. No need for a bicycle technical background. Candidates simply need to enjoy riding bikes and be excited to help people get on bikes. Brand Ambassador - Part Time (Seattle)

We're looking for a results-driven, marketing-oriented, high energy Brand Ambassador to support our store in Capitol Hill. This Seattle-based individual would be the literal and virtual face of PUBLIC bikes in the Seattle market, managing social media platforms, engaging local merchants, neighborhood and city influencers, and cycling advocacy groups, and planning community-based events and partnerships in and out of the store. PUBLIC is seeking a full-time E-Commerce Manager to play a leading role in the launch of a new mobile-first e-commerce platform in Q1 2016, to provide leadership for growth and continuous improvement of the site on an ongoing basis, and to be responsible for ensuring the overall success of our online direct sales channel. Director of Merchandise - Full Time (San Francisco)

PUBLIC seeks a full-time person to oversee Merchandise and Product Development. This position reports to the Founder/CEO and will work closely with all other departments. We need a hands-on team player with 5-10 years product management experience with related specialty web centric retail businesses. This person must be comfortable working in a fast paced small company environment rather than a more formal large company structure. This position will oversee all aspects of merchandise, product development and inventory (including bikes). Management experience with product assortments, improving margins, and managing inventory in a web and store-based environment is expected. Leadership skills include a visionary and entrepreneurial attitude and a good sense of humor. Having larger company experience is valuable, but this position is for a hands-on person who can manage their own spreadsheets and make their own travel while taking on management responsibility. Warehouse Bicycle Mechanics - Part Time and Full Time (Oakland)
