GAP added a dose of freshness to their Fall/Winter 2011 product assortment with a pop-up PUBLIC Bikes store.

How it started

We teamed up with GAP to give a fresh look and feel to its flagship store in San Francisco. GAP has long represented casual apparel. We were happy to work with them to connect its brand to urban bicycling cultures.

Step-by-step

GAP contacted us with an idea for a holiday pop-up. We worked closely with their visual merchandise team to emulate the look and feel of a PUBLIC store. Down to the hardwood floor and industrial appeal, it was a great success. Customers purchased PUBLIC gear directly from our website with the help of a custom built iPad station. GAP also bought a fleet of PUBLIC bikes that employees could use for bike share to travel between offices.

Branding

 

Working with GAP gave us the great opportunity to co-brand. Both of our companies aim to provide good-looking merchandise that appeal to a dverse, urban demographic.
