Be the first to win and ride our new PUBLIC Bikes
![]() We are introducing two new PUBLIC bike models this fall. These bikes will be available for sale in mid-November 2010. But before we make these bikes available to the general public, we will offer two people a chance to win one of our new PUBLIC bikes by inspiring us with your vision of how our world will look from the seat of a PUBLIC bike. What you need to do to enter: Tell us in ~200 words or less where you would take us and what we would do on a 90 minute bicycle trip in your hometown. First Prize: Win one of these new PUBLIC Bikes ![]() PUBLIC J7 in orange ![]() PUBLIC A7 in Green ![]() PUBLIC J7 in Vanilla ![]() PUBLIC A7 in Orange
We're actually holding two contests at the same time. One contest is exclusively for college and university students (community college, undergraduate, and graduate). The other contest is open to anyone. You can only submit one entry to one contest. We won't be testing for steroids, but if you submit multiple entries, you'll be disqualified. The contest deadline is November 14 at 11:59 pm. To enter our contest, you simply need to tell us what we'd see of special interest if we visited your hometown and you had 90 minutes to take us around. Wit, humor, creativity, and noting unique local destinations are strongly encouraged, although not required. College / University Contest
Must be a student with a valid .edu email address to qualify. Faculty and staff associated with a school must enter the PUBLIC Contest. PUBLIC Contest
Open to anyone who has not submitted an entry to the College / University Contest. We also have many second prizes - helmets, bells, and baskets - to give away to those of you who also join us on Facebook and/or Twitter. If you like us on Facebook OR follow us on Twitter, you’ll double your chances to win a second prize. If you like us on Facebook AND follow us on Twitter, you’ll triple your chances to win a second prize.
